We are delighted to celebrate our fourth award win within a year, at the 2020 British Insurance Awards

We are delighted to have won the ‘Commercial Lines Broker of the Year – SME/Mis-Corporate’ award at the 2020 ‘British Insurance Awards’. This follows on from our ‘Schemes Broker of the Year award’ at the ‘UK Broker Awards’ earlier in the year and the 2 ‘Insurance Times awards’ in 2019.

Unfortunately, the planned black-tie event in November at the Royal Albert Hall couldn’t take place, due to Covid-19 restrictions.  Instead, the virtual event was hosted by Comedians, Josh Widdicombe and Tiff Stevenson, with a number of Darwin Clayton staff joining others in streaming the award ceremony from their homes.

On winning the award, Mike O’Connor, Chairman of Darwin Clayton said;

“I can’t describe how proud I am of all of our staff for all their hard work and dedication during what has been a most difficult year of trading.

We now hold the commercial lines broker of the year and schemes broker of the year awards from multiple events at the same time, which, I believe is unprecedented.

We are there for our clients and partner brokers. We will continue to provide them with the first class level of service that they have come to expect from us – and which has earned us these four prestigious awards this year.”

The award wins come in Darwin Clayton’s Centenary Year, and our CEO Simon Henderson also added:

“Despite a very challenging 2020, it is great to now have been recognised for 4 major industry awards in the past 12 months, and during our Centenary year makes it an even more remarkable achievement.  It goes without saying that none of this would have been possible without our incredible staff, but I would also like to thank our Clients, Insurer and Broker Partners and Trade Associations for their continued support throughout the years.”
