Darwin Clayton celebrates Schemes Broker of the Year at the UK Broker Awards

Insurance brokers Darwin Clayton won their 2^nd Schemes Broker of the Year award within a year of their double award win at the Insurance Times awards in November 2019.

The awards took place virtually due to Covid-19 restrictions, with the black-tie event being replaced by a video announcement of the winners, and a large number of Darwin Clayton staff streaming the awards from their homes.

Darwin Clayton faced tough competition at the awards within the category and on winning the Schemes Broker of the Year prize, one of the judges, David Worsfold – Financial Journalist, noted:

“I think there were 2 things that really stood out for me in this year’s entries.  1^st was the sheer power of the creativity amongst UK Insurance Brokers, creativity in solving challenges, in coming up with solutions that really matched their customer’s needs. 

The 2^nd was the customer, the focus on the customer, the commitment to customer service, the commitment to finding exactly the right solution and the right partners for whatever their challenges their customers threw at them.”

Reflecting on the award win, Chief Executive Officer of Darwin Clayton, Simon Henderson, added:
