Relationship with Darwin Clayton

 
Tekne first found out about Darwin Clayton through NAS (National Association of Shopfitters and Interior Contractors) and struck up a working relationship with them. For around 30 years they sustained contracts with Darwin Clayton, up until 2013 when Darwin Clayton lost out to a local broker when the contract went out for competitive tender.
 

Lacking industry knowledge

 
After signing up for a three-year contract with the new broker, Tekne found that the industry knowledge they had did not compare to the expertise of Darwin Clayton. This meant that they didn’t often get an answer straight away and were always having to wait for a response. Once the contract finished, they decided to switch back to Darwin Clayton and were delighted to continue to deal with the same faces they had got to know over the years.

Going full steam ahead

Tekne returned to Darwin Clayton due to competitive pricing, industry knowledge and the fact they’re looked after so well. Darwin Clayton now writes all Tekne’s insurance requirements including sizeable liabilities, property and fleet policies.
